Short goals are more readily achievable than one large goal. When you walk towards a destination you take many small steps to get there,you don't do it in one big leap. Approach weight loss with the same attitude and it will give you a much bigger chance of success.
Everybody would like to have a toned, fit and muscular physique. However there is a big space between wanting and having. You can want all you like but it won't get you where you want to be. Only by doing something about it, will you achieve your goal.
How many of us say that we would like to lose weight or that we should get in shape? These are very common statements, but these are statements without substance or validity.
A better statement would be, what are we prepared to do to be able to reach out goals? Getting a good physique doesn't just happen, it requires certain sacrifices.
If you are not prepared to make changes to what you eat, and how you eat then you are not taking your goal seriously. Believe me when I say that, because wishing and wanting is a complete waste of time unless you are prepared to make those wishes and wants come true, by changing the way you do things.
If you are serious about changing, then what maybe holding you back is not knowing what you have to do to get into shape. If this is the case, don't feel bad about it because this area can be really confusing, as there is too much information on health and fitness and it can be difficult to choose what to do.
The first step is to think about what exactly is it that you want? You need to be specific, don't just say that you want to lose lots of weight and get really fit. That goal is too obscure you need to set a specific goal to be achieved in a specific time period. Make your goal realistic and achievable. Don't make a long term goal because it will be a long way away.
Set short goals, and when you reach them set more short goals. All the short goals in time will add up to a very big goal on it's own with no work from you. Set goals one month at a time.
Say for example you want to lose 10 pounds in a month, which is very achievable, what are you going to have to do to achieve that? I could easily tell you how to reach your goal but I am not going to.
I want you to think and workout how you are going to achieve it, and not just follow what I or anybody else tells you. It's your body and your health, so it's fair that you make the effort, and your confidence will greatly improve knowing that you did it off your own back.
Do not jump into anything straight away. Spend a week or two researching. Learn about exercise and diet by using the internet, find what is going to suit you best. Once you are confident that you know enough to get started, make a plan for 4 weeks and stick to it no matter what. Once the month is up check to see what you have achieved. You may have lost more than 10 pounds or you may have lost only 7 or 9 pounds.
If you find that you lose more than you aimed for then that's great, give yourself a pat on the back. If you have lost less than what you aimed for then that's great as well. You may ask why would that be great? It's because you had the commitment, discipline, and the presence of mind to set a goal and aim for it.

The key to these movements is to be sure your abdominal is doing the work and not your head, or arms. There are many places to find exercises to get a flat abdominal including the internet, library, book store and in videos. With so many different options a person may have trouble deciding which exercises would benefit them the most while trying to get a flat abdominal. The best suggestion in this case is to try several different ones and decide what works for the individual. One exercise may work great for one person, but be too strenuous for another. Or, one person may be in better shape and be able to do several different exercises that a beginner can not do, at least in the beginning and may just need to concentrate on one movement, instead of a series of different movements in one workout session.
While some exercises to get a flat abdominal may work better then others, no exercise will work if not properly performed and done regularly. A person should decide which exercises they are both capable of doing and also can do for an extended period of time while working to get the flat abdominal they want. If they exercise is too complicated, takes too much time or can only be done on a special type of equipment, the person may not be able to stick with it long term. Snacks include apples, 2 oz. chicken or turkey breast, 6 oz. of plain yogurt, or a handful of nuts.
Perricone says that within three days your skin will be vibrant, healthy looking and younger looking as well.
2. Surgical 3 day face lift
A three-day face lift that's done surgically is often called a "weekend lift" because patients often will have the surgical procedure one on a Friday and return to work on Monday.
The three-day face lift takes about 2 hours to do, and provides dramatic results to the patient's face, but not to the degree that you get with a full face lift. Often, the patient can end up looking 8 to 10 years younger after a three-day face lift.
The cost of a three-day face lift is significantly less than a full face lift, but so are the results. Experts say you can expect that the three-day lift can remove jowls, elevate cheeks and remove excess skin and fat from the neck and face areas. It can also tighten facial muscles.

Known for its pain-relieving properties, acupuncture is also widely used in China to prevent the onset of wrinkles. Proponents say regular treatments can stimulate the flow of blood and energy through the skin and delay the signs of aging.
“The principle is that this hydrates, plumps up and boosts the skin's supply of nutrients and oxygen, thus decreasing the appearance of wrinkles and blemishes,” according to Esme Floyd in the Daily Mail.
Acupuncture is grounded on the belief that the body has a life force called qi or chi that flows smoothly as long as the masculine and feminine aspects of the body called yin and yang respectively remain in balance. If not, disease and health problems may occur.

“The face has a high number of acupuncture points, says qualified acupuncturist and naturopath Stephen Langley, who specializes in the treatment. This doesn't work with the skin on other areas of the body, he says, because there are fewer energy points,” Floyd said.
“Treatment consists of 45-minute sessions where the face is treated with ultra-fine needles at specific points. The needles are left in for 20 to 30 minutes and both sides of the face are usually treated equally, unless there is a specific blemish or problem to be treated,” he added.
But other practitioners remain skeptical, saying aging (and the wrinkles it brings) isn’t a disease but a natural process that isn’t caused by an energy imbalance. They seriously doubt that acupuncture can ever compete with other anti-aging procedures like Botox or a facelift.
"Treatment with facial acupuncture isn't going to iron out your wrinkles in one go but so far results have been good. Treatment can boost appearance, reduce toxins and make the skin appear younger but it's worth remembering that it's a subtle effect that isn't going to make wrinkles disappear forever,” said Jocelyn Gray of the British Acupuncture Council.
