You mentioned Milk thistle which has silymarin.

This is actually one of the most powerful of all. It helps your body boost glutathione or GSH. GSH is the bodies master detoxifier.

To detoxify acetaminophen poisoning a drug is given that boost the GSH. So, in the things to avoid, it would seem that acetaminophen would be one. Since an overdose kills the liver, GSH protects the liver and detoxifies it, we would also want increase cysteine intake.

This incidentally is one of the treatments for lead poisoning.
