Mesotherapy Side Effects

As with any other form of treatment, Mesotherapy can have Side Effects. Diabetes Deadly for Weighty Women

When you have diabetes, your need for insulin affects how likely you are to get cancer. But it is different for men and women. If you are a woman your risk of getting some kinds of cancer increases with insulin use.The information from these studies was released Friday December 7 2007 at the Annual International Conference on the Frontiers of Cancer Prevention Research which is held by the American Association for Cancer Research.

The results did not surprise scientists, who have thought along similar lines. Diabetics use a lot of insulin which along with other hormonal factors, increases cell production so more cells grow, including cancerous cells. The first study was done by the University of Minnesota, and those results showed that women with diabetes have a 50 percent greater chance of developing colorectal cancer.

The researchers tracked over 45,000 women who were taking part in breast cancer detection programs for over 8 years. Though they did not conclude exactly what is causing the increased risk, insulin use is likely the culprit. That was what the second study concluded. Diabetic women have a 300 percent greater chance of developing breast cancer, and their use of large amounts of insulin is probably the reason.

The second study, from Yale University, looked at C-peptide, a marker of insulin production, for 8 years. It found that the upper third of high C-peptide levels were 200 percent more likely to die from breast cancer than the lowest third measured.

The third study was not as much about diabetes as about the weight gain that so often causes it. This study was done at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. It showed that when women are found to have invasive breast cancer they should not gain any weight, because if they do, they will be much more likely to die from the breast cancer.

Several thousand women in the study were classed according to the body mass index. Women in the obese class were 2.4 times more likely to die of breast cancer than women in the normal body mass class.

Fat tissue produces more estrogen, and estrogen grows cancer cells. So the women are at greater risk for cancer and dying of it whether they are diabetic or overweight, or both. And the results with the men? The men are fortunate compared to the women. Testosterone like estrogen grows more cancer cells. But insulin reduces the amount of testosterone in men, so their chances of prostate cancer when diabetic are significantly reduced.

Reduce Back Pain By Standing Aligned

If you are interested in healing from chronic back, neck, shoulder or hip pain, then it is important to work on improving your alignment. Misalignment plays a major role in the onset of neuromuscular problems and pain. So what causes misalignment? Accidents and genetic factors can contribute to misalignment, but the single most important cause of misalignment is the way we use our bodies.

Think of how many hours you spend each day sitting in a chair. Perhaps you lean on one hip more than the other, or hunch forward or drop or crane your head as you read or work at your desk. Perhaps when you stand, you unwittingly lean forward or back, or stand with your weight primarily on one leg.

Improper habits of walking can also be a major source of misalignment. The average person walks 8000 steps a day, or approximately 75,000 miles by the age of fifty. If we spend years walking out of alignment, the body inevitably cries out in pain.

Thousands of years ago, when we lived closer to nature, the demands of our lives encouraged us to develop proper alignment. Today, many factors contribute to inefficient alignment: our sedentary lifestyle, the harsh impact on our bodies of cement walkways and overly soft sofas, crowded spaces, everyday stresses that cause us to contract our muscles in tension, lack of public knowledge of the principles of good body use--these are just a few of the sources of misalignment.

How Can You Correct Your Alignment?

Most of us are not aware of when our bodies are misaligned. The way we use our bodies is habitual, and habits are generally unconscious. We do not think about the way we stand, sit, and walk. We just do these things the way we have always done them. In addition, habits have a way of perpetuating themselves. They feel right simply because they are familiar.

In order to effectively correct your alignment, you have to notice your habits of use, for example in the ways you stand, sit and walk, and then change them so as to move with greater ease. Part of doing this involves slowing down enough to observe what you usually do habitually and without thought. Below you will find a simple example of how to improve your alignment, by noticing just one aspect of how you stand. As you improve your alignment, the bones of your legs, rather than your muscles, will carry your weight, and the muscles will be able to relax more.

Improve the Way you Stand

Stand the way you normally stand. Observe how you do this. Are your knees locked or are they slightly bent? Once you have noticed whether or not you habitually lock your knees, and many people with chronic pain do, then see if you can unlock your knees. To do this, simply bend them very slightly and gently. This might feel wobbly at first, but it is critical to the health of your body.

Many people stand with their knees pulled back or locked. This gives a false sense of stability, because the legs become rigid. Unfortunately, locking your knees creates problems. The most obvious problem is that locked knees stress the knee joints. But there is more, lots more.

Locked knees cause the pelvis to tilt forward, putting pressure on the hips that can cause hip pain, and also creating a swayback. You can easily observe this swayback if you stand sideways in front of a mirror and alternate between locking and unlocking your knees. A swayback puts the entire spine out of alignment. It causes muscles in the low back, neck and shoulders to overwork in order to support the spine, leading to pain in those areas and to spinal degeneration.

By unlocking your knees, you move your pelvis and hips into better alignment and reduce unnecessary pressure on the muscles. If you initially feel less stable in doing this, this is because you are used to associating stability with feeling rigid. The feeling of instability will soon pass, to be replaced by a sense of greater balance.

When you stand while talking to a friend or wait in line at the grocery store, try to notice whether your knees are locked or free. When you find your knees locked, simply unlock them. You will find standing much less tiring.

Thermobaric Approach to Longevity

In cell banks around the world, human cells are kept in a state of near immortality. The environments in which these cells exist are at a relative constant of temperature, pressure and a steady supply of nutrients. These cells have an average replication rate of once every three weeks. They have a "life expectancy" of 10,000 replications.

Now do the math: 3 weeks X 10,000 = 30,000 weeks = 576 years

Yet, we are told that our life expectancy is only 80-100 years.

A bit of a contradiction here, or its it?

We do not live in such perfectly controlled environments. Our bodies operate at a range of temperatures that can vary significantly from day to day, activity to activity, mood to mood.

So where the perfect cells are kept in a kind of unchanging stillness, our lives and our bodies are changing and reacting moment by moment.

While we cannot establish a constant state in all our cells, we can reduce the thermodynamic variation to a significant degree and benefit in a healthier and longer life.

To understand what is happening, we need to look at a physics term called "stress". Stress is any fluctuation of heat or pressure. The more rapid or the more extreme the fluctuation, the higher the stress.

Each stress imprints the material that is stressed. Imagine a pair of pants that you have never worn. Now wear them for a long day. Notice how the material has been changed by your form and your movements. After a month or so, the pants that you have worn do not go back to looking like they were new. They have been stressed and imprinted with and by your use of them.

Let's go back to our cell bank where the cells are kept in a near perfect equilibrium. The temperature of the incubators is 37 degrees Celsius.

Now, drop the temperature of the incubator by 2 degrees Fahrenheit or 1 degree Celsius.

Is this possible for human beings?

We have some evidence that it is. Methuselah lived to be over 1,000 years old. More..... Roy Waldorf at UCLA experimented with mice. He found that by reducing their food intake to about half of normal, that he could drop their body temperature by about 2 F and thereby double their life expectancy.

But he is certain that human beings will not tolerate living like this.

I believe that he needs to consider those on the planet who are malnourished and in a state of semi-starvation. They do not live twice as long as the well fed. Perhaps it is the range of nutrients, to some degree. Perhaps it is another factor.

The longest living people that we know about live at altitudes above 1500 feet in cool to moderate climates, walk up and down slopes several times daily, eat little or no sugar and few starches, and have primarily water as their fluid intake.

The sacred writings of the Tibetans claim that some have achieved several thousand years of age.

The Himalayan people claim that there are masters alive today who's life has spanned more than 3, 000 years without reincarnations.

Are we to believe that the ancient people who recorded the correct progression of stars and comets for hundreds and thousands of years somehow did not know how to count years when it came to human aging?

Skeptics will likely say that the witnesses were beguiled or duped. Perhaps once, even twice, but for hundreds and thousands of years? For generation upon generation? Could all the witnesses have been misled and mistaken men they knew for twenty or thirty years for a youthful "substitute"?

If we accept the possibility that there have been individuals who have lived 150 years or more, and examine the cultures, climates, diets and philosophies of these individuals, we may find that there are certain principles that reoccur and find ways to adapt these principles to our own lives.

4 Tips to Health and Youth

There are four key factors that will either create health or illness in us. They are so simple, yet often ignored and forgotten. Let’s look at the first key factor.

1) Diet - Our diet nowadays rely heavily on processed foods which do not contribute to good health. If you eat like most people, you'll most probably have too much animal products, fats and refined foods in your daily diet. Three things can happen to the foods that we take into our stomach:

a. They can be digested and assimilated as nutrients for our body use and growth;
b. They can ferment in our stomach as in the case of improper food-combining e.g. undigested sugars from eating fruits on a full stomach after meal; or
c. They can putrefy, or rot and decay also in the case of improper food-combining e.g. undigested proteins from eating chicken (protein) with potatoes (carbohydrates) in the same meal.

Fermentation and putrefaction are one of the exogenous toxins in our body that cause aging and illness. Exogenous toxins are toxins taken from outside the body, not self-generated. Examples include all junk food, tobacco and alcohol, polluted air and water, putrefaction and fermentation in the stomach from improper food combining which usually happen in meat-eater, and drugs and medicines.

A plant-based natural whole food diet of fresh vegetables and fruits plus some nuts and seeds will give us the essential nutrients that our body need.
